Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico to a family of musicians. She was raised listening to classical Boleros from the past as well as traditional romantic and Ranchero songs. Ana is a fan of Tangos. She also loves operas, and every form of theatrical performance. When she was 16 years old, she began to sing and study music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began giving her a more intensive singing instruction. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. Her early professional career saw her perform with many orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs and chamber groups in Guadalajara. Following her move to America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present place in southern California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and often performs as a soloist of traditional Latin American music at private events. as a music teacher and musician, she is committed to various community-based projects because of her passion and enthusiasm for music. Ana was a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as well being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana feels privileged to be able to bring to others her passion for the traditional Latin American music. She hopes to help younger generations continue the tradition.
